More than a wine tour, this romantic and engaging wine tasting adventure takes guests on a captivating ride into the world of Sonoma County wine. They travel in a carriage drawn by two magnificent draft horses on an exclusive five-mile route through vineyards and private lanes. The itinerary includes stops at three boutique Alexander Valley wineries. It begins with a guided tour through the vaulted chambers of the Alexander Valley Vineyards wine cave and on to a full sampling of Alexander Valley Vineyards wines in the tasting room. Guests then board the carriage for a 3-1/2 hour cross-country adventure through creeks and between vineyard rows to Soda Rock and Hanna wineries. The pace is unhurried, giving guests time to sample award-winning wines at each winery and enjoy the gourmet delectables provided along the way. What’s more, the driving is left in the capable hands of a gracious coachman/guide, eager to share the wonders of Alexander Valley with his guests. More than a tour, this is a unique and romantic wine tasting adventure.
