Mendocino County
Home to about 50 wineries, Mendocino County offers particularly beautiful wine trails. From Highway 1, just south of Manchester Beach KOA, leave the highway and drive east on Mountain View Road to Boonville. From Boonville, travel north on Highway 128. This is the heart of Anderson Valley. Returning to Boonville and heading east on 253, one finds more wineries between Hopland and Willits off Highway 101.

Lake County
Clear Lake lies in the center of this pristine county, offering plenty of water activities and fall and winter fun. The drive around Clear Lake, a circuit of about 60 miles, delights wine tourers with its weathered cabin-style motels, bed and breakfasts, antique shops, lakeside homes and—more than a dozen lakeside wineries.
