| TOURING & TASTING in Oregon
The state of Oregon has more designated scenic byways and tour routes than any other state. Start in Oregon’s oldest fine wine region, the UMPQUA VALLEY. Head for America’s only DRIVE-THRU ZOO and the beautiful NORTH UMPQUA RIVER, one of the country’s last rivers where the native steelhead salmon still run. Pitch at tent along the way north to THE WILLAMETTE VALLEY where WILDLIFE can be seen along the South Hills Ridgeline Trail. Drive north to HOOD RIVER VALLEY and sample the bounty of freshly harvested vegetables at a roadside farm stand.
