The Southern California region begins just north of Malibu and stretches all the way down to San Diego. And Temecula Valley is in the heart of it all—located just about an hour from Los Angeles, San Diego, and Orange County. Take a ride in a hot air balloon. Play golf, or for a change of pace, play in the mud and sparkling mineral pools at a hot springs spa. Or shake dice at the casino. Craving nature? Explore nearby Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, home to bighorn sheep, desert fox, and 500 miles of winding roads.
Touring Temecula Valley is easy because nearly all of the wineries here—ranging from small and charming to large and elegant—are located close to each other. More than two dozen wineries call Temecula Valley home. Heading east on Rancho California from I-15, you’ll begin to see wineries in about five miles. There will be wineries on both sides of the road, plus along Anza Road and De Portola Road.
