When Bill Myers founded White Oak Vineyards & Winery in 1981, his goal was to make renowned artisan-quality wines from the finest vineyards he could find. By remaining true to his vision and acquiring 750 acres of estate vineyards in the Russian River, Alexander, and Napa Valleys, White Oak is now a world-class winery with a solid reputation for crafting excellent award-winning wines.
The winery’s flagship wines, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc, are deeply rooted in the alluvial soils of Sonoma County’s Russian River Valley, while its Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, and small production reserve and dessert wines hail from the Napa Valley. Winemaker Bill Parker shows incredible winemaking talent in his 90 plus-rated portfolio. The wines are routinely praised by critics, and judges at the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition who recently granted Gold medals to the 2010 White Oak Russian River Chardonnay and the 2007 White Oak Napa Valley Merlot.
