The Hess Collection Winery's Asian Pear with Skyhill Goat Cheese and Toasted Macadamia Nuts

An easy and delicious sweet snack that calls for a homemade goat cheese and honey mix, Asian pears, macadamia nuts, and The Hess Collection Mt. Veeder Chardonnay to polish it off.

INGREDIENTS

8 ounces goat cheese, Skyhill Farms preferred

3 tablespoons honey

2 Asian pears, core removed, sliced 1/8" thick

1/4 cup macadamia nuts, toasted, chopped

DIRECTIONS

Place the goat cheese, and honey in a food processor. Mix until smooth. Place in a piping bag.

Place a slice of Asian pear on a flat surface. Pipe a ½ teaspoon of goat cheese mixture on top. Garnish with macadamia nuts.
