Winemakers to Watch

Tom Myers Castoro Cellars

Tom has been crafting wines in the Paso Robles for nearly 40 years and has been the winemaker at Castoro Cellars since 1990. His wines exhibit a distinct fingerprint—a certain clarity that emphasizes the fruit—and a slight imprint of oak.

Don Brady Robert Hall Winery

Don and his wines have earned many national and international awards including the Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance’s Winemaker of the Year. During his 16-year tenure at Robert Hall, he has consistently produced wines that capture the exceptional color and flavor that is the essence of their vineyard, as well as enhance the quality of the wine by getting the best product possible out of each vine.

Joe Barton Grey Wolf & Barton Family Wines

What strikes us first about Joe is his commitment to family, neighbors, and farming. He handles 100% of the wine production to insure that every step is performed to its fullest potential. He also provides friendly support and advice to fellow Paso Robles vintners, many of whom are his friends

Michael Fay Sextant Wines

Michael says his goal isn’t to speak to the wines, but to let them speak for themselves. At Sextant, he is focused on producing terroir-inspired boutique wines.

Jordan Fiorentini Epoch Estate Wines

Jordan and her amazing palate were drawn to the unique soils and winemaking mission at Epoch. As evidenced in the wines, she’s not afraid to push the envelope.

Impressive Portfolios

J. Lohr Vineyards & Wines

Across the winery’s four tiers of signature wines, we discover wines full of flavor. This masterful family-owned winery manages to produce wonderful wines for every occasion and every day of the year.

Claiborne & Churchill

Inspired by the wines of Alsace, the winery crafts a refreshing portfolio of premium dry wines such as Riesling, Pinot Gris, and Gewu¨rztraminer, as well as Pinot Noir and Syrah.

Eberle Winery

Paso Robles winegrowing pioneer Gary Eberle continues to set the bar for fine handcrafted wines from the region. The prolific portfolio includes a delightful white Rhône blend and Muscat Canelli.

Pelletiere Estate

With a strong emphasis on distinctive estate-grown Italian varietals, the compelling portfolio includes Sangiovese, Nebbiolo, and Lagrein. An aromatic Viognier, a zesty Zinfandel, and a muscular Syrah round out the list

Baileyana

Baileyana crafts graceful, cool-climate Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The portfolio presents several expressions of both, ranging from elegant to rich and bold in style. Each wine is refined, rich, and perfectly balanced.

5-Star Tasting Experiences

Treana

The aesthetically pleasing tasting room furnished with taster-friendly bar stools, couches, and small tables sets the stage for sampling the diverse and intriguing wines crafted by Austin Hope including Treana, Liberty School, Candor, Troublemaker, and Austin Hope.

Calcareous Vineyard

The steep drive to the hilltop tasting room is thrilling and definitely worth the climb. Expansive glass walls provide views of the Salinas Valley as guests taste wines born in the calcareous soils.

Adelaida Cellars

The new tasting room is delightful, but for a real treat, we love the Vineyard Tour, Taste, and Tailgate. Guests are transported to a hilltop oasis where they’re shown the specific vineyards where the wines they’re sampling grow.

Derby Wine Estates

Housed in Paso Robles’ tallest building, Derby offers an excellent lineup of wines. In a region that is known more for its red wines than whites, Derby shows depth in both. A standout is the Grenache Blanc.

Broken Earth Winery

Varietals that demonstrate purity of fruit, structure, balance, and an accurate reflection of the style and region are what guests can look forward to from Broken Earth. The large yellow tasting room is warm and welcoming.

Le Cuvier

Homemade hors d’oeuvres are offered alongside every wine at this hilltop tasting room. The wines undergo an extended time in barrel–a minimum of 33 months in neutral oak, resulting in wines with complex flavors and aromas.

Bianchi

Set on a serene lake with sweeping vineyard and coastal mountain views, Bianchi boasts a friendly and knowledgeable tasting room staff and two exceptional collections of wine.
