FOUNDED IN 1969 in the heart of what is now the Los Carneros appellation, Cuvaison is one of the pioneering wineries that shaped the modern era of California winemaking and helped catapult the Napa Valley onto the world stage. Today, nearly 50 years later, Cuvaison maintains its legacy as an independent, family-owned winery dedicated to making estate-grown wines including Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc from its Los Carneros estate vineyard.
Dedicated to sustainability, Cuvaison has planted its 210-acre estate vineyard in a mosaic pattern of more than 60 distinct blocks and individually farms and nurtures the grapes until they are ready to be handpicked. The vineyard is Napa Green Land and Fish Friendly Farming certified and the solar-powered winery, built in 2009, is certified Napa Green.
To fully appreciate the Cuvaison legacy and its balanced, vibrant, complex wines, guests are asked to make tasting experience reservations in advance. On arrival, they will be greeted warmly by a friendly, knowledgeable hospitality specialist who will guide them through an immersive tasting of Cuvaison’s exquisite estatedriven wines, plus Bordeaux wines from Cuvaison’s sister property, Brandlin, while enjoying stunning panoramic views.
