We Olive's Roasted Pears Glazed in Mulled Spice Vinegar

A versatile dish! Serve it topped with mascarpone or ricotta cheese for brunch or topped with vanilla ice cream as a winter dessert.

4 pears sliced in half lengthwise core and seeds removed
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1/2 cup of We Olive Mulled Spice Balsamic Vinegar

*optional: marscapone, ricotta or ice cream


Preheat oven to 400. In a non-reactive bowl, stir the cinnamon and Mulled Balsamic with a fork. Toss sliced pears so they are completely glazed in balsamic. Arrange the pears, cut side down, in a baking dish. Roast the pears until caramelized, turning them over half way through, baking about 20-25 minutes. Fill core with your choice of cheese or ice cream and before serving drizzle the remaining balsamic mixture on top of pears.
