Andis Wines' Bacon & Veggie Quiche

Pair a delicious quiche for brunch or a light dinner with the 2012 Andis Wines Sauvignon Blanc.

INGREDIENTS

<p> Prepared pie crust (or use your own recipe)<br /> 8-10 oz bacon<br /> 1/3 cup onions, chopped<br /> 3/4 cup broccoli florets<br /> 1/4 cup mushrooms, chopped<br /> 3/4 cup mild cheddar cheese, shredded<br /> 2 Tbsp Parmesan cheese, shredded<br /> 4 eggs<br /> 1 cup half & half<br /> 1/4 tsp salt</p>

DIRECTIONS

<p> Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.</p> <p> Cut the bacon into pieces and fry it crisp. Drain off the excess grease and set the bacon aside.</p> <p> In the same pan, sautè the onions until half cooked and set aside. Sautè the broccoli florets until they’re bright green and set aside.</p> <p> In a bowl, mix together the eggs, half & half, and seasonings.</p> <p> Into the pie crust, spread half the cheddar and half the Parmesan cheese. Put in a layer of bacon, a layer of onions and a layer of the broccoli florets.
