Combine lemon rind, lemon juice, thyme, oil, Mettler Zinfandel and honey in a large plastic bag. Add all the chicken thighs. Put into the refrigerator to marinate for 2 hours, turning bag over after l hour to coat all the thighs.
Preheat your BBQ grill. Remove chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade. Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper and grill over medium-high heat, turning frequently until done. Approximately 7-10 minutes per side.
Serve with Mettler Zinfandel
