Valley of the Moon Winery at Madrone Estate's Fava Beans

A quick and easy side dish that's sure to be a crowd fava-rite!

INGREDIENTS

2 quarts roasted vegetable broth
1/3 cup sea salt
2 pounds rinsed fava beans, in pods
1/4 pound shaved pecorino romano cheese
2 tablespoons rosemary sea salt

DIRECTIONS

In a large stock pot bring vegetable broth to a boil. Add sea salt.

Put pods in boiling broth. Bring back to boil for 5 minutes or until a bean is tender, when tested.

Remove beans from broth, sprinkle with rosemary sea salt, and shaved cheese. Serve immediately.
