RODNEY STRONG VINEYARDS was the first to craft a single vineyard Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, the first to produce a Chalk Hill Chardonnay, and among the first to plant Pinot Noir in the Russian River Valley. Today, the winery’s impressive repertoire includes world-class Reserve wines, a Symmetry blend, several single vineyard releases, and a great lineup of estate and best-in-class Sonoma County wines. This includes wine from the recent Cooley Ranch property, located in rugged northwestern Sonoma County. 

At the tasting room, located just south of the town of Healdsburg, guests can experience a fascinating complimentary self-guided tour as well as a VIP winery tour for wine club members who make reservations in advance. 

In early April 2018, the winery reopened The Terrace, a beautiful outdoor patio area beside its culinary garden, and introduced this year’s food and wine program created on-site by its own Chef Alejandro Garcia. Inspired food offerings include the Food and Wine Pairing, seasonal bites flawlessly paired with Rodney Strong wines (vegetarian and library versions are optional); and C&C plates, an array of cheeses and charcuterie selected by Chef Alejandro, plus honey from a local farm, seasonal mostarda, roasted almonds, and more.

The Terrace provides a serene setting for enjoying the wines and food delicacies. The Terrace is open through the summer on Fridays through Sundays from 11 to 4 and on one Sunday each month, there is live music.
