What's New?

Touring & Tasting is Ready for 2018!

With a new year right around the corner, Touring & Tasting Marketing and Media is working on some big plans. We have exciting news and announcements to share — so whether you’re a current marketing partner (thank you!) or just curious as to what we’re up to, we hope you’ll take a few moments to read on. Everything we do is designed to help YOU be more successful in the wine tourism realm.

Magazine Redesign

The Spring 2018 edition will debut our new magazine design under the direction of Alisa Baur, most recently Art Director of Santa Barbara Magazine, the quintessential and very successful lifestyle magazine of California’s Central Coast. You can expect a fresh new look to Touring & Tasting, fully reflecting today’s wine travel and lifestyle experience. As always, we're providing the inspiration and information to help people discover the best of wine country.

New Regional Director

We welcome our new Regional Director Kristin Gladfelter based in Seattle. Another industry veteran and expert, Kristin knows the hospitality, wine, and spa industries like the back of her hand! If your business is based in the Pacific Northwest, you’ll be hearing from Kristin soon or feel free to reach out and introduce yourself: Email Kristin

New Publishing Schedule

We’ve revamped our publishing schedule to more closely align with wine tourism seasonality. Thus, the Spring 2018 edition will span March – August and Harvest 2018 edition September – February 2019.

New Preferred Member Program

Our new loyalty program is off to a great start and we'll continue to expand in 2018. Members receive free access to upgrades and perks on winery tastings, experiences, accommodations, events, merchandise, and more — exclusively provided by Touring & Tasting marketing partners.

New Tour Division

After 22 years of people thinking we’re a tour company, we’re finally doing it! We’re launching Touring & Tasting’s Wine Country Tour Division in Q1 2018. We’re thrilled to add the capability of delivering Touring & Tasting readers directly to our clients via customized individual and small group tours. The initial launch will be in Northern California with plans for roll out to the Pacific Northwest and California's Central Coast.

Next Marketing Program

“Adventures in Wine Country” is the theme for the Spring 2018 edition. We’ll inspire readers to get active in wine country: from adrenaline-charged activities that require hiking boots, helmets, and waterproof cameras to the milder stuff like wine cave tours, culinary adventures and glider rides. Page after page, this issue will be a breath of fresh air! We'd love to showcase your wine country business in this special issue.
