Beautiful and remarkably diverse, the Sonoma County line lies about 45 minutes directly north of San Francisco. This region covers 1,768 square miles and boasts a dozen specific appellations, which tells us that when it comes to terroir, Sonoma County offers plenty of variety from coastal breezes, to inland mountains, to pancake-flat valleys, to soft, rolling hills.
